Yes, in order for a user to be eligible for the unoccupied property discount, he/she must present one of the following documents at the user service points and/or through virtual means:
a. Invoice for the last period of the domiciliary public water service, in which it can be established that there was no consumption of drinking water.
b. Invoice for the last period of the domiciliary public energy service, showing a consumption lower or equal to fifty (50) kilowatts/hour/month.
c. Record of the ocular inspection of the property by the public cleaning service provider, showing that the property has been vacated.
d. Acceptance letter from the public water supply service provider of the suspension of the service by mutual agreement.
For the municipalities of Candelaria and Jamundí, the rates for the provision of public sanitation services are set in accordance with the provisions of Resolution CRA 720 of 2015 issued by the Comisión de Regulación de Agua Potable y Saneamiento Básico – CRA, which establishes the methodology for the calculation of public sanitation service rates to be used by sanitation service providers that serve municipalities with more than 5,000 subscribers.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 158 of Law 142 of 1994, all providers of domiciliary public utilities referred to in the aforementioned law, have the obligation to resolve requests, complaints, claims and appeals submitted by subscribers or users of the service, within 15 working days, counted from the date of their submission.
